Zero Water Pitcher

ok

I think I've fallen to a new low

big excitement of the day?

I found a zerowater pitcher at Bed Bath and Beyond --

My parents are using it and it comes with this really cool meter that tells you how pure (or not pure) your water is. The higher the number -- the more your water tastes like -- well "not-water"

My tap water -- which tastes a little metalic -- scored a 168

bottled water -- 20

and I'm about to go test the now purified water

and it scored a 1

not quite a 0 -- but it is the first batch through the pitcher

I think we have a winner.

woo hoo!

I

really

really

really

need more excitement

it scored a 1 on the meter

Surprise Nachos

I decided that today would be a good day to do surprise nachos at work.

Last Halloween I bought all the stuff for a Fajita dinner including nacho cheese sauce. I bought 5 cans of sauce -- and didn't realize until I went to open it that it was concentrated -- you add 54 oz of water to each can

Leaving me with 3 cans left over for some future event

today

So I picked up the chips got out the warming trays and started mixing this orange foul cheese crap with sour cream and rotel and tons and tons of hot water to transform it into cheese lava (blech)

The associates loved it.

I decided to have about 1 tablespoon (I kid you not) of sauce over some chips.

have I mentioned my lactose intolerance?

seriously -- I don't think there's actually any sort of dairy product in the foul orange can of crap.

New meaning to the phrase 'surprise nachos'

color me miserable.
